Try to help my girlfriend get a TRV to visit me here in Canada, but there are some questions I have.
1.) They ask that we provide proof of a return ticket, but why purchase a flight ticket when we have no guarantee of the visa approval? I know cancellation insurance can be bought, but that's certainly not cheap.
2.) I'm paying for her entire trip (I've stated so in my letter of invitation and provided proof of my income) so where it asks for "amount of funds available during your stay in Canada (CAD)" what should we put there?
3) she has no funds in a bank account, her business is done out of her home (she makes and sells dresses), she lives in her parent's home (so no proof of property ownership). There is very little paper trail here... What can we submit in term of trying to demonstrate ties to Vietnam and showing she will return?
