Visitor visa from USA

Hello everyone,
I applied visitor visa last week and today I got email from cic requesting my passport. I currently live in San Francisco,California . They said I have to submit my passport through VAC located in LOS ANGELES, CA . I don't have any idea about how to submit my passport and pay fees . I visited VAC website but it was not clear . So if anyone could help me
