Hi everyone. I need your urgent help. Could you please share timelines for visitor visas from the time you submitted your application to the time you get your passport back from inside Canada? So that everyone will know including me how much time they are taking now? I will really appreciate it.

Hello. Do you have a link of how to apply from inside Canada? I applied for one but they said what I applied for is "visitors record/extension". They said I need to apply through a VAC. Please guide me on applying from inside Canada. Thanks

If you are a visitor in Canada, you cannot apply for a TRV from inside Canada. You just need a visitor record to stay.

Ok..thanks. that's what happened. I thought I could and I applied for one but they said what I applied for is "visitors record/extension". They said I need to apply through a VAC. I would cancel the application because I dont need an extension

Then you can leave anytime if you don’t need extension.
