Visitor visa for UK resident (Indian Passport holder) travelling in India

Hi,

I need to apply for a Canada business visa for a trip in August but I am currently out of UK for a business trip and will be back in London next week but again traveling from 16th June onwards in India until end of July.

Can I apply for the visa online and when requested to submit passport can I submit it in India?

Yes, you can do this. However, your timeline is pretty compressed so factor in the possibility for a delay - you may have to change plans on short notice if the visa application takes longer than usual. Also you will need to give biometrics (unless you've given that to Canada in the past 10 years), so look up appointment times on this website.

I think you can, yes. But I'm not absolutely sure. You should email/call the visa office in the UK and ask them.

I tried VFS they don't know if it is possible. I will try contacting the embassy directly now.
