Hi all,

I am Kamala, I am planning to invite my brother to Canada as a visitor. I am currently on a work permit and I would like to provide all required documents from my end for my Brother.

My Brother is 29 yrs old
Nationality-Indian (Currently working in Qatar as a driver)

My question is:
what reason should I mention in SOP to make my brother's profile strong?
Should I go with a consultant or apply by myself?

Thank you so much

Regards,
Kamala

Since your brother is older than 22, he has to show his own funds

What is his current immigration status?
Why does he want to visit you in Canada?
What are his home ties and reason to return ?

You should be able to explain all this

what reason should I mention in SOP to make my brother's profile strong? - Reason to visit cannot strengthen brothers profile

Should I go with a consultant or apply by myself? - You can do it either ways.

All the best

There will likely be concerns that he may be attempting to remain in Canada and try to get a work permit. Applying from a 3rd country reduces your ties to your home country. Does he own property? Does he have a spouse or children? Has he travelled internationally to countries like UK, US, Australia? As already mentioned he must show that he has the funds to support his pwn travel.
