Visitor visa extension

I was wondering, when applying for visitor visa extension (6 months is almost gone) what reason I should pick: Family visit or other. Other would be explaining that I need to maintain legal status while my applications is processed for PR under Family class.

1. From the list, indicate the reason why you want to extend your stay:
   • Business
   • Tourism
   • Short-Term Studies
   • Returning Student
   • Returning Worker
   • Super Visa: For Parents or Grandparents
   • Family Visit
   • Other (medical visits, transit, etc.)
2. If you choose “Other”, provide details

2. "Visiting spouse while spousal sponsorship app is processing".

Include proof of the PR app.

when we did my husbands, we put other and stated that we are waiting for his PR (provided AOR1, SA and AOR2 as well as the birth of our baby and provided ultrasound images and a report from the high risk pregnancy clinic that i am expecting). It was approved. We sent the app on June 8 and received his record on 9/28
