I was curious, I am from U.S.A. and if a Canadian officer stamps my passport for me to stay a certain amount of time, but I extend my stay during that period while im in canada, do I have to go home when the stamp says or?

I don't get this question. If you have an extension... why wold you go back to your home country on the original date? Wasn't this the reason to extend the stay?

You have to go back on that date unless you apply for an extension.
