Visitor visa extension processing time

Is anyone else still waiting to hear back from the visitor visa extension application? Ours got there in early august by mail and still no word back. Just wanted to hear from others!

I am still waiting also, applied in September. It's crazy, the first time I needed one, it came in 2 weeks, but now it is taking much longer. Don't know why, but the processing time for online applications has been changed to 71 days instead of 15, and paper applications are now 97 days.

Okay good, so were not alone. Lol, Have been waiting a long while for it and I just want to get an answer already! So I am assuming your first extension went relatively smoothly?

Yes, I applied online for myself and our daughter, paid with credit card, uploaded docs, received extension in two weeks.

Exactly the same for me, applied for an extension in the beginning of September and still waiting.. I've been under implied status since October 03. When I applied for a visitor visa in April 2012 (change from worker to visitor), it took them 1 week to approve it and another week to send it to me. I don't know what's going on. I feel kinda weird not having anything in my hands that states that I'm allowed to stay here for the moment.

I applied Oct 14th online. Both of my previous extensions were approved and VR mailed to me within 3 weeks, so I'm hoping for the VR any day. Status expires in 9 days!

As long as you have an application submitted for VR, your status does not expire, you are on "implied status until a decision is made.
