Visitor Visa extension (Eligibility question )

Hi everyone,

I recently got married and my husband is having permanent resident in Canada.
Currently I am on visitor visa, which is going to expire in next month.
I am in the process of applying visitor visa extension. I have following question please guide.

Under section "Find out if you're Eligible to apply" there is question I need to answer
"Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada ? "
Shall I choose "Yes" or "No"

No, you are not accompanying a family member. You have your own status and you are applying to extend it.

Accompanying means you are a dependent being brought to Canada by a PR or other visa holder. That is not what is happening in your case.
