I applied for an extension of my visitor visa on the day of expiration. Unfortunately, they only received it the next day, so after my previous visa expired. I am married to a Canadian Citizen, and will apply for permanent residency soon inside Canada and for a work visa. However, I fear that my visitors visa will not be renewed and, therefore, not to be able to get my work visa. Do you think the agent can renew my visa anyway? If he does not, do you think i will be able to get my work visa?

Thank you

You should expect your extension will be refused - this means you'll be applying for PR without status in Canada. If you apply for PR inland without status in Canada - then you will get an open work permit, but not until first stage approval (16 months after you submit the application).
