Hi,

My friend wants to apply for a Visitor visa from Canada. He has been in Canada twice already once in 2000 and once in 2009.
He has extensive travel history too. The problem is that her son also applied for a Student visa which is still in process and we don't know if he gets the Study Permit or not.
We are wondering if he needs to mention-- in the "Explanation Letter"-- that his son also applied for Study Permit?? We were wondering since we still don't know the answer probably it is better not to mention anything about his son. He has an Invitation letter from one of his close friends for this trip too. Would you please advice me if we need to mention his Son's status in the letter or not. And I would appreciate if someone can give me a sample letter of Explanation for Visitor Visa. Thanks
