I am in India and have a visitor visa which will expire on May 1st 2015. My husband is in canada on work permit. As his OWP is expiring on May 15th 2015, he has applied for work extension which is yet to come, hopefully in another one week time as per the current processing rate. He has applied for PR under Provincial nominee category for both of us in Nov 2015. However, yet to receive AOR.
Now, I am planning to visit canada after he receives his work permit extension, which we are expecting in one-two weeks, because if in case his extension gets further delayed I will not any valid proofs to extend my stay after going there. As said above, my visa is going to expire on May 1st.
Please advice on the below:
- Before May 1st, till when will I be eligible to migrate to canada? I am worried whether i might or might not get the visa again as its always 50% probability.
- Is it so that I can enter till last week of april and at the immigration in the airport they would stamp on my last date of stay in canada?
