We are going to apply for a visitor visa for my mother. All the documents are ready but yesterday my husband learned that he's fired, he has 4 weeks. He'll find a new job in meantime, no doubt. Will it influence on my case if I sent the application now.

I'm assuming your husband is employed in Canada. If that's the case then NO, your husband's (un)employment will not affect the assessment of your mom's TRV application (visitor visa)

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I don't work neither. I'm taking care of my son. Is that still ok?

Not a problem. Your mom must show she has the finances for her visit (even though accommodation, travel and living expenses will be taken care by you)
