Visitor visa delay

I've submitted my temporary resident visa on December 3,2019. I've got instructions to submit my biometric by December 5 and then visitor acknowledgement was received. And no update yet, it's been almost 1 month. Is it getting delayed due to holiday season or is it normal? Any inputs please

Mine i have been waiting since november..submitted my application oct 29. Submiited my biometrics nov 7 and received my corresponde letter nov 22 and until now not hearing my the immigration..

Same for me. In my case, I applied for a work permit with a priority processing of two weeks, but no updates so far
