KSCM..
What you're saying is confusing and not right.
-To apply for a visitor visa, he must show ties to his country & convince the embassy officer that he will be back to Egypt before visa expiry date.
This is a vital point to show, otherwise his visitor visa will be denied cause the embassy will consider it an illegal way to stay in Canada.
-To such ties, he should be working in Egypt and provide evidence of that in form of employer letter.
-He may be required to provide bank statement as an additional evidence that he will be back, and that he can afford the travel/stay during his visiting period to Canada.
-You cannot apply for "extension" while applying for visitor visa. Its name implies it.."extension"..so it should be after visiting visa expiry. Again, visa extension is subject to assessment that he will be back after its expiry as well.
-Work permit is a whole different procedure. It has nothing to do with visitor visa. It may require a employment offer that's subject to assessment as well, to verify the need for such "talent" in Canada.
Hope this is much clearer for u now.
