Hi All.

I am in process of submitting a visitor visa application for my parents and brother.

Few questions:

1. Upon selecting visitor visa I see two options which look very similar - can anyone share the difference? (I am a PR so it seems both are applicable)

"To visit my spouse, common-law partner, dependent child, parent, steps-parent, guardian or tutor who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada"
"To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada"

2. My parents are retired now; had a business many years ago (>10 years). While I will be taking care of all their expenses when they are here - does that show negatively on them from the application standpoint with regards to proving strong ties back home?

3. My brother is a special needs child (major, but dependent as he has permanent disability) - there is no bank account, he isn't employed. Under "Finances" - they ask "How much money do you have for your stay in Canada?" - I am thinking of adding "0" and explain in the comments following the question: "Is someone else giving you money for your stay in Canada?" - or instead of adding "0" - add a number and explain that in the comments?
