Hi everyone :D
I'm looking for some suggestions, critiques to my cousins TRV application

I'm trying to get my cousin to come visit my family in Canada. Everything will be paid by us.
She's a 22 year old university student, with 11000 rmb (just over 2200 cad in her bank), she's on her last year of school and She only has to write a few exams starting in October to graduate, and has no classes. She lives in her school residence, no property of her own. She's never been outside China before

So far we have:

- invitation letter from my mother, stating the planned trip, her income and property, relationship with my cousin, vowing to support and be responsible for her
- booked flights (including return ticket)
- medical travel insurance
- letter from her school stating her enrollment and when she will graduate
- a 1 month bank statement from my cousin's bank

Anything else we should add to support her chances? She also works a full time job, but she will probably quit that when she comes here. Very likely we're going to get her an extension, so I don't know if a letter of employment will help or not.

How long is she going to say she wants to visit?

Well from what I heard, she needs 1000 cad per week, and anything over a month gets a higher chance of refusal, so we planned to do just over 2 weeks, maybe like 17 days

That's a good length of time. I would keep it under a month since it sounds like she hasn't traveled very much in the past. Along with the letter from her school, I would include proof that she has paid her tuition fees for the next semester. I would also include a letter from her employer confirming that she is taking a few weeks off and when they expect her to return to her job.

Thanks for the advice! :D

Do you think proving that she is employed would hurt our chances of getting an extension though?
The thing is she doesn't have anything important to do until October. We would very much love her to stay longer than 2 weeks

Your first challenge is getting her visitor visa approved. She's young and has relatively few ties to her home country. So I would personally get the employment letter.
