My workpermit is expiring on May 24 and there are no chances of getting thorugh express entry. I have following questions regarding visitor visa:
1. In case I apply for visitor visa now and it is approved before May 21 can I still continue to work as worker till May 21 or my worker status will continue till May 21. I want to continue working till May 21 to complete one year of CEC.

2. Secondly what are the chances of approval. Do they ususally approve it or reject it.

3. Also are we legally allowe to stay 90 days after the expiration of workpermit.

1. You can work until May 21st.
2. Probably a high chance of approval.
3. If you let your work permit expire without applying to change your status to a visitor visa, you will be out of status in Canada as soon as your work permit expires. No - you are not allowed to legally stay in Canada for 90 days after the expiry of a work permit.

I have another question if I apply for visitor visa on may 22 and then my visa expires on May 24. Can I stay in Canada after may 24 till a decision is made on my application

Yes - you'll have implied status until a decision in your application is made.

Make sure your TRV application reaches CIC before your current visa expires. It's not good enough for you to mail the application before the expiry date - CIC must receive it before the expiry date.
