visitor visa 6 months return ticket

We, Indian citizens just got visitor visa to canada to visit our daughter, a PR holder.As advised on this forum we showed that we want to stay for 15 days in Canada.But we plan to stay for 6 months.Now if we buy ticket with return date after 6 months then will we have problem with CBSA when we arrive on Canadian airport?

There is no guarantee that you be given even a 6 month stay so if you book a return at the outset that is greater than 6 months and are asked to show your booking this could be a problem. There is no way to predict whether you will be asked to show your return booking so is your decision but maybe best advice is to book something at less than 6 months with ability to change if you decide to use the extend stay as a visitor process. Almost guaranteed though you will probably be asked purpose of visit and length of stay.

Perfectly fine- just book a ticket with return dates within these 6 months.
