I Just finally got my answer in the mail. It said I am approved to stay here until March the 13th this year. My fiance said then because we'd be married by then but now they changed it to "Temporary resident" I guess? It says near the bottom;

"temporary resident status maintained as per R183(6)

Anyone ever heard of this?

The conditions say
1. Unless authorized, prohibited from engaging in employment in canada
2. Must leave canada by 2013/03/30
3. Unless authorized, prohibited from attending any educational institution and taking any academic, professional or vocational training course.

I striked that part through because they used a pen to. Not sure why they did that. I am from the united states. They are taking me more seriously it seems since telling them we're getting married.

I don't think they were striking anything out. I think they underlined the "Must leave canada by 2013/03/30" for emphasis to make sure you wouldn't overlook this departure date and make sure you would leave Canada on / by this date.

Don't fret over this. Regardless, just to be on the safe side, don't work or study.
