I would like to ask if I should file first for visitor record then visitor visa which will expires on June 2020? she got back from philippines last sept2019. Her TRV will expire this june 2020. She wants to return in Canada as a visitor. Please help..thanks

Think you are getting confused. You get a visitor record when you land in Canada. You can’t apply for one. TRV needs to be applied for. No need to renew her TRV if she enters Canada before June 2020. When entering after June 2020 she must reapply for TRV.

if i want to extend my stay as a visitor after my work permit expires, will I apply for a visitor visa extension (visitor record) or Visitor visa (from inside Canada)? What is the max. duration for the visit visa that I can get?
