visitor extension?

Hi,

I applied for PR through commonlaw inland on 20th July 2015 and submitted my open work permit along with the application.
i am still waiting for my Open work permit to arrive and my visitor visa is due to expire in one month.

It has almost been 4 months since I applied, does anyone know if I need to extend my visitor visa?

Assuming you paid the correct fees and the correct application forms (both for PR and for OWP) you have been on implied status/will be on implied status once your visitor record expires until your OWP is approved or denied.
