Visitor Extension

Filling out the extension for my visitor record and will be printing it off and mailing it in (spousal sponsorship in the early stages of stage 1).
Two questions.

1) I don't see anywhere that I get to explain why I want to stay (to stay with my husband). Does anyone have any experience with these extensions? I guess I can add it to the page of my additional employers, since I have to go back 10 yrs?

2) Where/what is the document # on my Visitor record? Is it the red letters/numbers in the upper right hand corner or the black ones below it??

One thing...the red letters/numbers has 11 digits and the form only allows me to enter in 10, hence I thought it was the black ten digit letter/number below the red one. I'm so confused. I thought after the Sponsorship & PR Apps, the rest would be a cake walk......GAHHHH

Also, I guess the form changed (SURPRISE!) as of July this year....wonder if that's an "update". :-X

Yep, it's the black sorry haha. I just glanced at it at first and put down red, but then realized it was the black *shakes head*

I think we put the red AND the black.. but I can't remember, it's been 5 months. I guess I better get back to writing them out since we may have to apply again!! Sorry about that!

IDK if your question is addressed to me or Parker, but I didn't think about attaching a copy of PR fees paid. WILL DO! I'm applying for an additional year.

My husband rushed shipped out FBI paperwork, so we got a tracking number. I provided that and offered to sudmit proof of medical tests (receipts and a photocopy of the form) if needed. If the agent has access to the internet, he or she can go to Canada Post, input my tracking number and see it was really sent to the FBI... if s/he so desires lol. Yeah, not likely, but the option is there!

I asked for.... 18 months. I'm sure CIC will laugh and reduce that, but I figured that was 2 months for my police clearance to come back, 10 months for the application to process, and 8 extra months in case anything gets screwed up. I don't think I'll get 18 months, but hopefully another year.

No, I just included my husbands UCI, that's all I felt they needed. I applied for a year, got 6 months. This time I'll be applying for 6 months since that is apparently all they will give my husband.

Ok. Thanks. In my case I would only have fee receipt as I have not yet submitted PR app so wouldn't have had a UCI
