Visitor Extension-abandoning/ withdrawing/ leaving without the stamp

Wondering if there will be any overstay in the following cases while on implied status:
1. Abandon the application and leave
2. Withdraw the application and then leave within 30 days or asap
3. Get an approval but leave before the sticker is pasted on the passport. Return within 20 days to send passport for affixing sticker (you generally have 30 days to send passport for getting the stamp). Would the application still be considered abandoned in this case?

If you abandon or withdraw the application while on implied status, technically you then never had implied status and you overstayed from the point of expiry of your previous visa/admission permission ending.

If you will leave after approval but return before you have the visa, how will you get in?

You don't get a sticker/visa counterfoil in the passport if your extended stay is approved
