Sure, but without medical you will be paying for it out of your own pocket. It will not be cheap.

thanks PMM,

You always been helpful. Can I take private medical insurance for her? and what would be the status of my child born here in Canada? I m PR.

If your child is born in Canada, it is Canadian citizen automatically. You can purchase private insurance. Perhaps you can send a private message to haver, who works as a insurance broker.

Pregnancy is an existing condition and there is no private insurance that will cover it. As they know it will cost them $5-10K

Please be informed that CAD 10M for normal pregnancy and in case operated then add another CAD 2-3M. But best thing is if you can afford your child will be a Citizen and it would pave a way for your immigiration to Canada if you qualify.

Having a Canadian child will not help anybody immigrate until their child has turned 18 years old and has enough income to sponsor them.

As for the cost, you can look into home birth. It is probably cheaper. I have also heard the numbers $5,000 to 10,000 and if there are complications, it can even be more than that.
