Hi,
My parents got multiple visiting visa on June 20.
But they are coming October 20, 2015. My question is
after getting visa, when they have to be in Canada?
Do they have to be in Canada after visa in 3 or 6 months?
I think one stay is for 6 months even for multiple visa, if so when the date counts for period of stay in Canada?
Is it counted from the date of visa on passport or from the date of entering to canada when they land in Canada?
I would be happy if you please give me information.

Thank you!!!!

There is no such thing as a visitor visa. Please drop the term, it is confusing you.

They can attempt to enter Canada from the date they receive the TRV to the expiry date annotated on it.

When they arrive they will be asked to show their TRV. Once their TRV is accepted then they will be granted a visitor status. That status is valid from the date of entry to up to 6 months.
