Visiting Visa

Good day to you guys,

My sister who's been in Canada for almost 30 years and was a Canadian Citizen too wants our mother to go to Canada for a visit probably by summer of next year. Our mom, was a widow, an old age pensioner and was living with my sister here in Laguna, Phil.. She's 84 now still strong though has a problem with hearing. Can you please help us what are the necessary steps in acquiring a visitor visa?

1. It depends, if she just wants an ordinary visa for a visit for 6 months see: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/visit-visite.aspx?lang=eng&view=d
2. If she wants a Super visa, allows for visits of up to 2 years, then see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa.asp
