Visiting visa from india to Canada for my parents

Hi group members,

I'm a canadian pr holder and applied for citizenship already. I have to apply for a visiting visa for my father and mother back in India. They will be coming to Canada sometime next spring 2022


1) do I need to create gckey for my dad as a primary applicant and ask them to scan me imm 5476 form and send it back to me so I can represent them?

2) what are the documents needed before I start their application ? My dad is a retired govt employee and mother is a home maker. They both have agricultural lands and a house on my dad's name . Please specify the documents list needed.

3) heard there is a 60 days to submit the documents once I create the gckey for trv application is that true and also do my parents need to provide their marriage certificate as part of document submission? I'm afraid they don't have the marriage certificate and it's very hard to get them as they are married 34 years back.


4) when do I book for biometrics appointment in India ? Latest situation in India is not good and all vac offices are closed? Please advise on this .

unless they have done biometrics already they can’t do biometrics in India at the moment.
