Kindly assist as I need to apply for visiting visa to Canada. My spouse and kids are refugee claimants in Canada for 2 years now. My spouse has a work permit and she works . Can my spouse invite me? Will it aid my visa application? Am gainfully employed in Nigeria, my home country

Your spouse can give an invitation letter to support your application https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../services/visit-canada/letter-invitation.html

A letter of invitation does not guarantee you will be issued a visa. Visa officers assess you to decide whether you meet the terms of Canada's immigration law. A valid purpose, strong ties (job, assets, family) and financial capability to travel are keys to get a visitor visa.

Are all your family members in Canada? If so this might be a red flag, since your ties in Canada are strong that you might not be granted a visa. Even if you don't intend to there is an assumption that you might not leave since your wife and kids are there.
I'm not sure with your wife's status if she can sponsor you instead? Let's wait for the gurus to advise. At @Bryanna , @scylla ,@canuck_in_uk your take on this?

There's pretty much zero chance that a visitor visa to Canada will be approved since your wife and children are refugee claimants. If you want to try to apply, see the post above for information how to proceed.

Many thanks . I have same feeling. Thinking family ties with Canada might work in this case...

Your family ties in Canada will unfortunately work very much against you in this case.
