Hello. I am a little bit confused.

I am visiting the states with my 2 year old daughter. We are going to disneyland. What documents do I need? Her father has not been in her life since she was born and refuses too. I heard I need his permission for her to leave, but he's not involved. What do I need?

What kind of custody arrangement do you have together? If he wants nothing to do with her then has he signed sole custody over to you? They very well may ask you to provide documents saying he knows you are traveling out of the country. It doesn't have to be the US it could be any POE in any country you attempt to travel. I have crossed many times with my 2 children and not been asked anything and other times I have been questioned as well as my children tho, your daughter is still young, they have even went as far as calling their father to ask if he knew I was crossing with them, and if you don't provide what they ask they will turn you back... GL!

We have a PERSONAL agreement that he has signed sole custody over to me, but it has not been signed by a judge. It was through mediation, that he signed that he wants nothing to do with her... Is that good enough to take with me?

You should be able to use it, mediation gives legal documents... is it notarized or legally stamped by the mediation officer?

Well I called border services and they said that she "advices" me to bring that document...but said nothing else. so I am asumming that's all I need.

She just made us sign our agreement in front of her at the office. There was some thing she signed but it was just saying that she was our mediation lady lol
