Hello, my boyfriend will be flying to Canada from Australia as a permanent resident, but we want to drive to the US a week later to visit friends for a week. I just want to double check that this will be okay considering he won't have his PR card yet?
From what I can tell, it's fine because we will not be travelling on a commercial vehicle, so he only has to show his COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residency) that he will get from immigration when he first lands in Canada.
