Visiting Outside Canada without TRV?

I know this questions has been asked before but I am still confused my situation is -


I wanna go for a 10 day trip to either Cuba or Florida in the end of the December, I am on my BOWP valid till Oct 2016, I have no TRV, not even expired and nor I am planning to apply for one and I am from Non-Exempt visa country.

Can I travel to Cuba and returning Canada via USA or Can I only travel to USA and re-enter Canada without TRV.

As long as you have a valid work permit you can only go to the US or St. Pierre et Miquelon and return before your work permit expires.
If you have a valid US visa, I would just go there and don't you have any old TRV you could use when entering Canada? or you never applied for me? I know even expired ones can help to re-enter Canada along with the valid work permit.About Cuba am not exactly sure... I would just call cic and ask them directly.

I have no TRV, I never applied for one. I will call CIC though.

to get the accurate information I would phone cic, ask them if your work permit will allow you to re-enter Canada without TRV

After long thought I am applying for TRV, Can you tell do I need to fill both these forms for application within Canada IMM5708 and IM5257?

I did followed this link I have logged into mycic account and have answered few preliminary questions but documents it shows are different from documents I filled in January 2015 for TRV. My application was withdrawn because of some missiing doucments at that time.

I have one question regarding my application I applied for TRV in January 2015 but my application was withdrawn I did not know the reason why, CIC never told me this. It was just withdrawn, I assumed I did not send copies of all the pages on my passport which are stamped. But I really dont know why and my fee was refunded to me. Now I am again filling this application, how should I answer this question -

- Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entryor ordered to leave Canada or any other country - YES or NO
