Hi!
I'm a public servant from South America, currently on a paid leave to purse a PhD in my home country. I got accepted for a visiting research period at a canadian university for 6 months.
The canadian university provided me with a job offer # and I am finishing my work permit application.
Questions:
1) In the IMM1295e form, under Employment:
Do I need to fill out my current PhD as employment, or just my actual and past jobs?
2) In the employment Record:
Do I need to insert information regarding my current PhD or just actual and past jobs?
This question arose due to being instructed initially to fill out the employment record with "
provide a detailed resume outlining your education (including research) and any work
history", however this seems conflicting with the Official Canada Instruction's for this item.
Thanks for any input!
