What are the chances of getting approved if we asked to stay 2months in Canada? We work freelance online so work would not be a problem. Money would not be a problem aswell as we have savings to show but would just like to visit relatives in this time. Also if we do get approved, I have read that the immigration officer will decide at the port of entry how long to give us. What happens if we get approved for visa but immigration gives us a shorter duration of stay when we arrive?

Chances are less Apply for stay maximum 2-3 weeks . otherwise if you have a genuine reason to stay for 2 months CBSA officer could give you entry according to your choice
