Visiting close to the TRV and Passport expiry date.

My mom's TRV(multiple entry) and passport will be expiring on May 14th, 2024. Recently she got a new passport which is valid for another 10 years. So now she has two passports (older one with the visa on it). Will she be allowed to enter Canada in the first week of May? And if she is allowed to enter, will she be asked to leave by May 14th? Thanks in advance for your answer!
