visiting canada while pr in process...!!

dear fellows ,
As i really need to meet my wife,son .i'm in pr process for last more than 3 and half years in islamabad : :-\

* is it possible if i can get visit visa "while in pr process",what are chances ?

* what do i require if i want to apply visit ? "as embassy already have my complete detailed info." do i need to show my ties in my homeland 'pakistan', do i still need a strong bank statment or it will be ok if i apply without a strong statment 'with a regular one.'?

Check your Canadian Embassy/Consulate guidelines for the requirements to apply for a visitor visa. There is no problem if you visit Canada during the process, if visa is granted.

The chances of getting a visa are low, spouses wanting a visa are seen by immigration as highly likely to overstay their visit.

as Ballo advised.. Chances are very low.... i will suggest you not to apply since it is wastage of time and money.... u r very near to get PPR,, just wait for sometime... everthing will be good.... cheers

I agree, even from the US we have issues, I can't imagine how hard it would be for you. It's because you need a visa to visit Canada if you didn't it would be easier. Just wait for the PPR, it's tough
