hey guys.
i already submitted my husbands spousal on Aug and i still havent received anything. anyway, i was thinking to apply for a tourist visa for him whilst we have an application ongoing. i am aware that having a spousal application ongoing wont make the visit visa easier, but will it be a reason that he might get rejected? my husband works and lives in dubai.

im new to this so any info would be helpful

He can apply for a TRV but chances of approval are low for people who have a PR application pending. It will not affect the PR app if the TRV is refused. Current processing times for a TRV is about 7 months.

Do we have to notify IRCC if TRV is refused and PR app is still waiting for AOR?
