visit visa timeline for Pakistan

I applied on the 26th of April and got the passport back on the 24th of June

Alhamdulillah,

Got medical for my father super visa. Here is the timeline:

Applied: May 24th
Arrived at Consulate: May 28th
Pickup: Aug 27th. TCS didn't call for few days. It says it arrived before Eid.
Medical scheduled for Sept 3rd.

Does anyone know if medical process has been changed. Before I remember people use to call doctors and schedule the medical. Now there was a 051-111 xxx number to schedule the medical for all Pakistan.

Anyone who has recently done medical? anyone in Lahore? if yes, can you post your experience?

My parents applied on 30th of May 2012 and till now there is no response. They have visited me before in canada many times. This time my brother applied with them. He is 27 and single but studying and working full time in Pakistan. Do you think it's going to impact their visa application. I have sent all the necessary documents from my side. I am a Canadian citizen. Kindly share your experinces.

Your brother seems to have good ties with Pakistan. I guess it won't create any problem. They are taking almost 3 months to process the application. So you should expect the result in coming week.

I got 3 years mutiple entry visa but my family got refused visitor visa totall time 2 months my application finalized

They rejected my wife's visa. stating that she will not leave Canada and does not have strong ties

yeh their excuses are like that. I am a student and they give almost every ones wife the visa..Strange for me but what can you do

Allhamdolilla, My parents got their multiple entry visa valid till 2016. Here is the timeline

Applied for Multiple Visitor Visa : April 22, 2012
Medical Received : July 24, 2012 (Passports were returned with medical with an explanation that if applicant does not want to go through medical than they can keep the passports or return passports immediately if they are willing to go through medical
Passports Returned: August 28, 2012
Medicals Done : August 1, 2012
Medicals Sent to New Delhi: August 8, 2012
Multiple Entry Visa Received: September 8, 2012

Few tips which may help other applications

• Show ties to Pakistan. Property, Job, etc
• Have good balance and Bank History
• Invitation letter should be accompanied by sponsor's bank statement and a letter from bank if possible
• Job letter or Business incorporation letter of sponsor
