Visit visa for parents by PR holder while outside Canada

Dear All

Please advise as I Am a PR holder living outside canada ( Middle east) , planed to move by mid of the year. I want to apply visit visa for my mother ( She is in pakistan & a widow) . Is that possible? If yes please advise some suitable way to process.

Recommend you post to the Visitor section of the forum. However the short answer is yes - your mother can apply for a regular visitor visa. She will need to demonstrate strong ties to her home country to prove she has no plans on remaining in Canada long term and will also need to show she has enough money to pay for her visit. Recommend she keep her trip short (2-3 weeks).
