visit visa for me and my mom [URGENT info required]

dear all

my wife(citizen) is in canada and pregnant, me and my mom wants to go canada for taking care of her before and after delivery, i want to go on urgent basis ,max in February 2019. kindly guide

1)should i apply for visitor visa for me and my mom?
2) should i apply online? if yes then what will the procedure of my mom?
3) difference between applying online or in paper? (applying online is more faster?)

Are you in the middle of a spousal sponsorship? If so your chances of getting a TRV are very low. You should apply separately from your mother. If your mother has enough assets (liquid, property, etc.), has a travel history to countries like the US, UK, Australia, etc. and can show strong ties to her home country she has a much greater chance of being approved. Strong ties would mean a job, having family members that you care for, etc.

Whatever you do don't say that the visit is to take care of the wife and child. Just say it is a normal visit.
