Visit other states of canada after my visa and work permit expires.

Hi, All

I am an Indian passport holder and working on basis of work permit. My work permit and visa both has expired on April 9' 2011. Before that I have applied for work permit extension on 7th April' 2011.

Now, these days i am under 'Applied' category status as both my visa and work permit has expired. Currently I am based in Toronto. So, If i want to go to Vancouver than am I eligible? Will Airport authority/custom will check and can oppose to my travel within canada from one state to another during this time when my visa/workpermit both has expired?

Please let me know. Any response will be highly appreciate as this is bit urgent.

You are on implied status. There is no immigration status check when you fly domestically. You will be fine as long as you don't leave Canada and try to re-enter.

FWIW Canada does not have states, we have provinces and territories.
