Visit home country while spouse application in process

Hi experts
I will be grateful if you guys can answer me if I can visit my wife while her application is in process and could be moved to the visa office soon. I am planning to visit her for a month.

As a PR sponsor you are supposed to remain in Canada during the processing of the application. Short vacations seem to be allowed, but a month may be pushing what IRCC considers acceptable. There are no written requirements for visits or vacations so there's always a risk that IRCC may not approve. Most people on this forum seem to think 2-3 weeks is an acceptable amount of time at the max.
