hii good day to all
I just want to know as I submitted documents to canadian embassy in kenya for visit visa and after around 38 days I received a mail which i submit one document was fraud and they are giving me an opportunity to prove it or If I failure to prove will get ban for five years to canada. In this case I replied to them to release my passport and it took another 2 weeks and still i did not get my passport back from the embassy. How long does it take more to get my passport and is there wil be any legal action??

It may take another few weeks to get your passport back.

There will be no legal action. But you should assume you are going to get banned from Canada for 5 years for submitting a fraudulent document.

Thank you very much for your immidiate response. Actually i was fooled to someone who gave me trust to give him money to get visa. I have no idea about the documents that they made. And i have 2 more people who are applied for visa almost 2months and when we check the status online shows being processed at the canada office. For them is there any problem with the visa or it will take still more weeks to get released the passports??

I don't think any of us can tell you for certain. If these two individuals have asked to withdraw their applications and they haven't received a letter yet regarding fraudulent documents, then they should be OK.

For the future, you should be aware that it is your responsibility to know what documents are included in your application and you are personally held responsible for any errors or misrepresentations. It doesn't matter who completed the application for you - you will still be held responsible.
