Hello Friends..

Today two guys (one Canadian and one Indian) from Canadian consulate Delhi visited my office to verify my background.

They asked me lots of question regarding IELTS score, College name and course, course duration, fund and father's occupation details and most important was "How long are you planning to stay in Canada? and what will you do after your study permit ends?"

Has anyone gone through this kind of situation?

Today two guys (one Canadian and one Indian) from Canadian consulate Delhi visited my office to verify my background.

They asked me lots of question regarding IELTS score, College name and course, course duration, fund and father's occupation details and most important was "How long are you planning to stay in Canada? and what will you do after your study permit ends?"

Has anyone gone through this kind of situation?

First, I was pretty scared as I never expected such things especially for Canada.

I replied to their questions but they seems to be in hurry to inquire other.

One thing they do not appeared nor respond as friendly cuz they talked to my boss very rudely.

i got admitted in Lethbridge College for administrative office professional certificate program (1yr) for fall 2017. i was exempted from ielts as i completed my 12th in english medium and gave all my exams in english. for that i showed a letter from my school stating the above evidence. i appeared for BA degree final exam this year but the result is still not out. i got admission at Lethbridge College on the basis of 12th result. now my queries are as follows:

1. Do i need to show my BA degree certificate for study permit?
2. What are my chances of getting approved?

my profile is as follows:
CBSE 10th= 76%
WBCHSE(West Bengal board)= 56.2% with English marks=71/100
have sufficient funds required.

Anyone got visa approved for paper based application on or after applying on 19th jan 2017 from Bangalore vfs?? Does anyone know how long does it take to get response from Bangalore Canadian consulate for general category paper based study permit?Applied in 19th jan 2017 and now It's been a month and I am still waiting.Processing time was just 3 weeks when applied.I guess it will take 5 weeks or more for updates.

I got My visa With in 8 days for May intake 2017 from Chandigarh embassy.My friend also applied on 9TH Feb and got visa approval email on 25th feb.
Both of our application under general category paper based from chandigarh VFS.

Hi Kamal - I applied online by myself. Spoke to a few consultants initially who said I would have to apply offline and that the process would take about 2-3 months. They also said that since I am overqualified, my visa would most likely be rejected so they cant guarantee. The fees they asked was in the range of INR 20 to 25K. I realized they're not an expert themselves and I can probably do a better job at applying.

I created my profile and applied online on 6th Feb with all the documents attached (upfront medical, PCCs for the countries I have lived, financial documents etc.) and was finally asked to submit my passport after 23 days.

My profile: CFA, MBA, LIII with 8 yrs of experience. Now going for MFin from Queens.
