Visa Renewal

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen, staying in Canada on a temporary work permit. I recently got my work permit until 2018. But the visa stamping on my passport has expired and as I understand, if now I leave Canada to visit India, I will have to apply for visa stamping extension before coming back.

Can I get this done when I am in India?

Please guide.
