I applied for the Canadain Visa twice , since my brother stays there as a permanent resident and sent me a sponsership letter. I have a florishing business in India and a prime property, we attached the papers and the income tax return for the last three years , we also attached the insurance ( accidental and peoperty) with the hefty amount. My kids go to school and i pay a good amount of fee. i attached the fee slip as well. I am 45 years of age so i am past the criteria to settle there. I am so baffled as on what basis my vias has been rejected. I mean how complex is that we only want to visit a family memebr , who is also accontable for us.

You should have applied for CGMS/CAIPS notes before applying for the second time. These notes would have given you an idea as to where and why the VO has refused your application.
IMO you should first order these notes and address.the issues that VO has and then re apply.
Your brother can apply on your behalf.

Hope that helps.

The point is not that. There is little or no communication from their side. How am i suppose to know all this ? If they had an issue they could have asked for more documents , perhaps and interview. Plus they charged me twice for biometrics, which once done is valid for 10 year. I just feel cheated and mindlessly rejected.

You have to go with the flow. This is their way of doing things if you don't like it there is not much you can do. As for your contention regarding double charge for biometrics you can take up the issue with the Canadian immigration ministry. Generally they charge you only the application fees every time you apply but recharging for biometrics is unheard of since the UCI number remains the same and the biometrics once done are linked to the UCI.
IMO you should apply for CGMS notes to understand why you were refused.

Hi,
Is there a way to get them to reconsider the application again once its rejected. I got a letter of support from the MP of Canada. Will it help??

You can apply for reconsideration, but it’s hit and miss if it will work. Letters from MPs don’t generally count for much as they are not allowed to influence IRCC decisions. It’s still going to based on the strength of your application.

Are you including your business account or your personal savings account? Some use one account but IRCC definitely differentiates between the two.
