Hi,
I applied for a student visa for a graduate certificate program, and it got refused by the HC in Islamabad. The reason for refusal was "purpose of visit" , prior to applying at a Canadian Institution, I previously had a Bachelors degree from USA. I requested and just received the CAIPS notes.
In the notes the officer had, they mention that I have an MBA (Which is not correct - I have a BA) and that I applying for a post-degree cert in HR mgmt (This is not correct either, as I applied for a post-degree cert in International Business). The notes mentioned that as I have an MBA it is not a natural progression of studies, therefore they are not satisfied that IRPA requirements are met for issuance of Student Permit.
Given that they evaluated my application on the wrong basis (MBA, Different Degree etc), even though they were correctly stated in the application forms, what avenues do I have to appeal or complaint.
Has anyone else gone through a similar situation ?
