It depends upon offficer noone can tell u that.. they might assume u did it once u might do it again
Just be honest about it and most probably it should not affect your application.
Overstay in usa for similar visa can... but yes be frank and out real reason and they might consider.. give ur best shot

Yess I have the solid reason. Because Trump administration was not friendly for Students. So dropped from the college which resulted in my visa expiry and overstay and decided to Join a University in Canada. Will this reason justify Visa officer

Your chances of approval depend on how long the overstay was and how recent it was.
sure, along with a new passport, you need a new name, new fingerprints, date of birth and a few minor surgeries to lift your cheeks up a bit.
Why do you want to dig a bigger hole for yourself? You have one infraction of overstaying on student visa. Do you want to further increase your chances of getting banned by hiding crucial information?
Do not try to game the system. Let's say you are able to do this time and you even get your visa. And three years later you want to be citizen of Canada. You think it will never be found? You think they won't kick you out for misrepresentation?
or again i will put it in one line. You can't game the system. If you're serious meet an attorney and figure out solutions.
It's extremely simple. You have to be 100% honest about your overstay in your application. If you aren't - you'll be banned from Canada for 5 years.
