Visa refused after 15 days...

Hello everyone,

I applied for canada student visa on 4th december 2012. got rejected and got the letter on 17th dec 2012. Purpose of visit, personal assets and financial status, history and source of funds were the reasons.

i supplied a bank draft of 20k cad for proof of funds.

can anyone tell me what should i do to make it right next time??

MS CS is the course. Have done BS CS cgpa: 3.41.

what were ur expenses in total for the course plus living expenses? a bank draft should be fine but did u show the source of this money? did u show how and where from u got this amount ? this is very important because visa officer wants to be sure where the money came from and in future if more expenses are needed then would the person be able to get it? some times they are dubious about bank drafts . here was a guy from pak who also made a bank draft but was refused 2 times.

tuition for one year at regina is 6700 cad + 10k living. so the amount shown was enough. Bank draft was from my uncle in canada, since he will be financing me for studies. also the bank draft was from a canada bank hsbc.

apply again with minimum 4 months bank statement....

I also got rejected by showing 65000 CAD in my and dad's account. I paid the full tution fees of the course. I applied at VFS Bangladesh. Dont know whts wrong with them!!!
