Hi...

My name is Akhil. I have filed my visa on 19th Nov and I got my passport delivered on 30th of Nov. I was shocked when I came to know that my visa was refused.

Can anyone please help me with your suggestions on what should I do next..,

10th-73.29 %
12th - 53.80 %
Diploma in Electronics & Communication (in India) - 65.15 %
Btech in Electronics & Communication (in India) - 65.7 %
IELTS - 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5
No gap in studies.

Applied for Electronics Engineering Technician - Communications in Seneca College in Canada under SPP
Reason for rejection : "Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of : your qualifications, previous studies, gap in studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects or plans"

This is my profile and I had applied for a program which is related to my field of study. I applied for the January 2013 intake.

Can anyone please give me suggestions on what should I do further. Should I re-apply with other course or any other suggestions. Thanks in advance for everyone..

You should have applied for University. If you do again You would get with same profile I feel sure.

If they refuse anyone there is one main reason behind but they put some more reasons which do not make seans.

Can you please suggest which program or University/College should I go for ? Should I go for PG programs or Masters ?

Apply for any PG diploma related to your field and i suggest add SOP while you apply for visa again.

Hi Akhil, I am sorry about your refusal. I believe being a technician is not the same as being just a scholar in your field. You ought to have identified that in the first place; being a computer operator is different from being a computer technician, does that make any sense? If you have met the language requirement, the VO wouldnt have highlighted other issues. Morealso, it looks to me like you presented your application a little unprepared.

When you apply next time, make sure you look at everything you think is required to be taken care of, especially explain why a change in field and so on. Just think like the way the VO would think. If you have met all the reasonable criteria, you should have the Visa.

Thanks..but my application was well prepared and well presented...can't figure out why it got rejected. Is it due to the program which I have selected or due to the college ?
